Information on the selection of the Issuer to perform assembly works as part of the modernisation of power unit No. 6 at Elektrownia Bełchatów S.A.

(the Issuer) announces that on 17 March 2010 the Issuer received information that it had been chosen by Alstom Power Systems GmbH (Alstom Power) to carry out assembly works as part of the modernisation of power unit No. 6 at Elektrownia Bełchatów S.A. The value of the job is more than PLN 70 million.
The Management Board of Energomontaż-Południe S.A. (the Issuer) announces that on 17 March 2010, the Issuer received information that it had been chosen by Alstom Power Systems GmbH (Alstom Power) to carry out assembly works as part of the modernisation of power unit No. 6 at Elektrownia Bełchatów S.A. The value of the job is more than PLN 70 million. The selection of the Issuer as contractor was made in connection with the conclusion of talks on the matter conducted by Energomontaż-Południe S.A. with Alstom Power, and will result in Alstom Power commencing an 'Order Issue' procedure. The order from Alstom Power Systems GmbH will arrive within the next several weeks.
A detailed schedule of the works will be agreed by the parties in the near future.
Remaining details regarding the fulfilment of the above task will be laid down in a contract, the conclusion of which will be announced by the Issuer in a separate communiqué.
