Information on commissioning the Issuer to implement projects at the Karlsruhe power plant and to erect the Emshafen supercritical units

(Issuer Company) hereby announces that on 15th December 2009 it received information on commissioning the Company by Alstom Power Systems GmbH to install the pressure part of the 910 MW overcritical boiler at the Rheinhafen- Dampfkraftwerk Karlsruhe power plant as well as to manufacture and deliver flue gas and air ducts under the project of erecting two supercritical units in Emshafen Germany.
The Management Board of Energomontaż-Południe S.A. (Issuer, Company) hereby announces that on 15th December 2009, it received information on commissioning the Company by Alstom Power Systems GmbH to install the pressure part of the 910 MW overcritical boiler at the Rheinhafen- Dampfkraftwerk Karlsruhe power plant as well as to manufacture and deliver flue gas and air ducts under the project of erecting two supercritical units in Emshafen, Germany.
The overall estimated value of the works to be performed under the said projects is ca. EUR 17.5 million which corresponds to ca. PLN 72.9 million in accordance with the average exchange rate of the National Bank of Poland as of the report date. The works shall be conducted in the year 2010. The detailed conditions of the aforementioned commissions are to be specified in the relevant contract the conclusion of which shall be announced by the Company in a separate report.
